This is one child proof package. It was very difficult to tear open and I resorted to using scissors to cut. Each package contains two pieces of hard caramels, each individually sealed in clear candy plastic wrapping.
The candy has a lovely enticing maple fragrance. The candy only has hint of a cannabis taste, almost a smoky essence in combining the two ingredients.
When buying candy and only getting two pieces…is a little disappointing. It does say on the package only two pieces, but because of government rules, you don’t get to see this and it was not clearly communicated by the dispensary. For this reason, I gave the product three stars. Plus, the manufacturer is allowed to produce 20 mg for sale. If you are starting out with edibles, this candy only contains 5 mg of THC and may be good for a newbie. Each candy is 40 calories, so you may only want to take half to cut down your sugar intake.
