Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate Recipe

What You’ll Need:

🥄 2 cups of oat milk
🥄 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips (can substitute with vegan chips)
🥄 1/4 cup of caramel sauce (can make easily with a can of coconut condensed milk to make dairy free and delicious caramel sauce – submerge in a water bath to cover the can by 2”, and cook for 2-3 hrs on low. Cool down the can in cold water for 10 mins before opening!)
🥄 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
🥄 Coconut whipped cream for serving
🥄 Extra caramel sauce and flaky sea salt for topping

How To Make It:

1️⃣ Heat the milk in a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat until hot but not boiling.
2️⃣ Add the chocolate chips to the pan and whisk until completely melted.
3️⃣ Stir in the caramel sauce and sea salt.
4️⃣ Pour into mugs, then top each mug of hot chocolate with whipped cream.
5️⃣ Drizzle some caramel sauce on top of the whipped cream, then sprinkle with a bit of flaky sea salt.
